CIMA premises cover an area of 15,030 m2, segmented into four research floors. Each research area comprises eight general laboratories as well as core laboratories intended for shared use by all CIMA divisions. These include culture laboratories, monoclonal antibodies, clinical samples, radioactive labeling, dark room laboratories, to name just a few.
In addition, each floor is equipped with refrigeration and freezing rooms, ultracentrifugation units and ultrafreezers. Each floor also has a library equipped for meetings and workshops.
With respect to general facilities, CIMA has electrical power units and uninterrupted power supply systems for the most sensitive equipment. It also has units for processing research waters (decalcification, osmotic processing, etc.), and waste waters. Moreover, the facilities include a cryogenic unit and areas for collection and treatment of chemical and biological waste.
